I am the over 2's head teacher. I am a fully registered teacher.

I love children, music, and sports. I enjoy cooking and reading as well as photography. I have a nephew and two nieces.

I believe that every child is special and they learn at their own speed. Children should be able to explore their own environment under the guidance of adults. I enjoy watching the children in my care grow into lovely humans.

I have been employed at ABC for 2 years. I have always loved children, my first opportunity to look after a child was when I was 17. At that time, I had the opportunity to care, full time for my friend's toddler for nearly 3 years.

Following that I decided to enter into nanny training as I knew I loved being around children, especially babies. During my nanny training I had the opportunity to work with Eva at ABC as part of my work experience. I then decided I wanted to work with under 5s in a group, childcare setting instead of a private home. This gave me the opportunity to work with children in a more structured environment as well as having the opportunity to work with the parents as well as their children.

I have decided childcare is the career for me and will begin my study for an Early Childhood degree shortly.

I came from Hungary in 1990 to get married to a man of Hungarian origin, Ivan. We have two sons Andrew and Marton plus a cat Csabi. All are favorites of the ABC Kids. I like to walk and good book to read. Couples of my hobbies are classic music and collecting interesting drift-woods. I was a 1st league basketball player for 20 years. I'm a member of the Hungarian Society of Wellington.

My Hungarian qualifications:
Master of special needs teaching specializing for the blind and mentally handicapped. I am also a Chemistry teacher.
New Zealand Qualifications:
Early childhood diploma of teaching and a completed teachers effectiveness course. I am a provisionally registered teacher.

My beliefs are that: there is a healthy mind in a healthy body, to teach good manners and to be consequent. My job is also to up bring the children here at ABC in a friendly family atmosphere to gain confidence, nice behavior, lots of knowledge and a good sense of humor.
